NVIDIA has introduced the Jetson Thor, a cutting-edge AI module designed to revolutionize robotics with unprecedented real-time reasoning and sensor processing capabilities. The new system delivers 2,070 FP4 teraflops, marking a significant leap over its predecessor, the Jetson Orin—offering 7.5x more AI compute, 3.1x greater CPU performance, and double the memory.

Industry leaders like Agility Robotics and Boston Dynamics are already integrating Jetson Thor into their platforms. Agility's humanoid robot, Digit, will leverage the module for enhanced perception and decision-making, while Boston Dynamics plans to deploy it in Atlas to achieve server-level performance at the edge.
